The Food Processing
line of stainless motors is optimized for the requirements of the Food
Processing Industry. The Food Motors retain all of the critical sealing
features of the Pharmaceutical Series of motors: O-ring sealed endbells;
welded junction box with O-ring sealed, threaded cover; and double lip
Radyne (graphite filled teflon) shaft seals. The motor body and fan shroud are T304 stainless with a
#4 line finish, and the fan shroud has a #2B finish. The junction box and feet are smooth, as-cast stainless, TIG
welded to the motor body.Please

THRU-HOLE FOOT
Four individual footmounts, smoothly and
continuously welded to the motor casing provide a secure mounting with no
crevices to trap contaminants. For
the ultimate in GMP, the blind tapped footmount yields a smooth, tapered upper
surface, free of bolt heads, nuts, washers, etc. which hinder thorough
cleaning. Other motors utilizing stamped bases always have gaps and crevices,
which are impossible to thoroughly clean. Silicone seal provides a temporary, less than effective, attempt to
solve the problem.
