IEC frame motors can be produced with single phase voltage or 60 Hz operating frequency. NEMA frame motors are also obtainable with European operating frequency of 50 Hz. Please contact Stainless Motors, Inc. with the operating voltage and frequency your project requires.

Standard IEC frame motors are produced with thermostats and carry the CENMark; thermistors are available as alternate. Our B3 output motors can also be configured in any of the following shaft arrangements B6, B7, B8, V5, or V6; our B5 output motors are available as V1 or V2 arrangements; and our B14 output motors can be alternately configured in V18 or V19 arrangements. Please note that either footmount style, shown below, can be produced on your IEC motor. Alternate flanges and mounting locations are available for all IEC frame motors.

Pharmaceutical motors are specifically designed to meet GMP processing standards and to withstand the most severe wash-down duty environments. Pharmaceutical Series motors feature:

Type 304 housing, junction box, and feet ground to a #4 line finish (T316 available)
Mirror polished fan shroud
O-ring sealed endbells
TIG welded junction box with O-ring sealed, threaded cover
Double lip Isomag or Teflon Labyrinth shaft seals
Class F thermostats
Heat treated 17-4 stainless shaft
Nameplate laser engraved directly on motor housing
