The Pharmaceutical Series meets the most stringent processing standards with an emphasis on superior performance, ultra-clean ability and reliability. This motor design has exceptional sealing features that are critical in severe washdown sanitary environments. O-ring sealed endbells and a welded junction box with an O-ring sealed, threaded cover are standard. The motor body and fan shroud are T304 stainless with a #4 line finish on all exterior surfaces and the fan shroud has a #8 mirror finish. Enhanced winding includes additional copper and iron for a 4:1 constant torque turndown ratio. ISOMAG shaft seals are used to provide a true mechanical face seal design that substantially reduces friction and heat resulting in a dramatically extended life of the seals. This yields cooler operating temperatures of the bearings, thus extending their lives as well. The junction box and feet are smooth, cast stainless and TIG welded to the motor body. This motor is available in NEMA, NEMA-JM and IEC frames and also in single phase. RTD’s and thermistors are available as options.
